| My father Reed A. Davis was KIA on Dec. 25,1944 and is resting in Plot G, Row 2, Grave 20. He was with the 328 Co. C and I believe he was killed in the Arsdorf area. I was wondering if someone could verify that for me. If that was where his company was on that day. I know they where hit very hard that day. I have not been able to locate anyone who has acurate knowledge. I have been to Luxembourg several times to visit the cemetery. My father was awarded the Silver Star and has been inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor. I don't remember a lot about my dad as I was 8 years old when he died but I'm very proud of him and have missed him all my life. Any futher info that could be provided would be appreciated. | |||

| My father Delmer B Case fought in the Battle of the ardennes. He was wounded in Luxembourg on 17 Feb. 1945. He earned three Bronze Stars for his service. My dad either could not or would not talk about his war experiances. The veterans Adm lost his records in a fire. I am trying to find any memory or record of his service. Respectfully ...James Case | |||

| Thank you for remembering. My father served in HQ Company, 26th Infantry and received a bronze star for meritorious service during the Battle of the Bulge. It's gratifying to know that the people of Luxembourg have not forgotten the sacrifice of those who fought and most especially those who did not return home. God Bless you! | |||

| Oblinger, Tom | 27.05.2008 21:26 | ||
| I am the son of PFC Raymond J. Oblinger, of HQs Co, 1st Battalion, 104th Regiment. My father died in 1985, never having talked about his days with the YD in WWII. I spent 12 years researching and writing about my father's experiences back then. During that time, I contacted several of his platoon members and put together their story in my book. It's called, "Old Man from the Repple Depple". Available thru Xlibris Publishing at the above website. (Hard or soft cover). | |||
