| Thank you for your continued tribute to the men of the 26th Infantry Division. My dad, Philip Fecteau was with the 26th Recon Troop. I was very lucky in 2000 when I visited Luxembourg and had personal tours by Camille and Erny Kohn and Fernand Zens. They showed me all the places that my dad had been in 1944-1945. It was the greatest trip of my life and those gentlemen have a special place in my heart. | |||

| My father Reed A. Davis was KIA on Dec. 25,1944 and is resting in Plot G, Row 2, Grave 20. He was with the 328 Co. C and I believe he was killed in the Arsdorf area. I was wondering if someone could verify that for me. If that was where his company was on that day. I know they where hit very hard that day. I have not been able to locate anyone who has acurate knowledge. I have been to Luxembourg several times to visit the cemetery. My father was awarded the Silver Star and has been inducted into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame for Valor. I don't remember a lot about my dad as I was 8 years old when he died but I'm very proud of him and have missed him all my life. Any futher info that could be provided would be appreciated. | |||

| Thank you for remembering. My father served in HQ Company, 26th Infantry and received a bronze star for meritorious service during the Battle of the Bulge. It's gratifying to know that the people of Luxembourg have not forgotten the sacrifice of those who fought and most especially those who did not return home. God Bless you! | |||
